On May 21st, China Quality Certification Center (CQC) held two technical specification review meetings for 2018 annual central-lever project in Shenzhen: “Switching Power Supply Performance -- Part 1: General Requirements and Test Methods”and “Switching Power Supply Performance -- Part 2: De-rating Requirements and Test Methods for Electronic Components”.
Project expert group of CQC, technical experts of Shenzhen Metrology Institute and Testing Institution of Watt Source Laboratory attended the review meeting. Also, Huntkey, as one of 16 enterprises representatives, participated in this review meeting.
At the meeting, the project leader of China Quality Certification Center first introduced the background and project process of the technical specification. After two years of specification revision and enterprise research, the content of technical specifications have basically been recognized by everyone. Participants and experts made active speeches and intense discussions on the finalization of the two technical specifications, and finally determined the contents, and then will enter the approval process.
The temperature of the MOS tube is 20℃ stricter than the safety regulation, the operating voltage of the drain-source is less than 95%, the reverse working voltage of the Schottky diode is less than 90%, the temperature of the transformer is 5°C stricter than the safety regulation, and the lifespan of the electrolytic capacitor is more than 30,000 hours. The recommended value of the noise of the charging adapter is less than 21dbA, the rapid temperature change rate of the environment is more than 10℃/min, and the immunity of the near-field RF electromagnetic field meets the stringent requirements such as Class A; the above strict performance evaluation indicators for the power supply will lead to higher cost of the device. However, for the sake of users, Huntkey actively participates in the drafting of standards and contributes lots of testing data for experts’reference, and actively responds to the call for the era of "high-quality development", so that Huntkey power supplies all meet the requirements of the standards and use high quality materials to ensure safety, which embodies Huntkey's social responsibility.
The release of the two specifications will enable China to incorporate the high-quality requirements for switching power supply performance into the national certification category for the first time. In the context of China advocating the development of high technology and product quality, this has historical significance as a milestone.
